4 + ENA

6,7,8 of June 2024, Municipal Theatre of Piraeus

@ Lida Touloumakou

the five elements in transition

The choreographer Kyriaki Nasioula, after the presentation of LOOM with her company GesamtAtelier at the Athens Concert Hall in 2022, transports us to the world of 4 + ENA.

Continuing her interdisciplinary research this time in collaboration with Dr. Maria Karoglou and her artistic partner Argyris Angeli, she introduces us to a laboratory of bodies, a function of science and dance, where the elements of nature occupy the hall of the Central Stage of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus.

In a world of speed

can we still look back to our roots?

To listen to (our) nature and the elements that form it?

@ Lida Touloumakou

The elements of nature converse with a quartet of pulsating bodies on stage, composing a dance of contrasts and revealing an orchestrated primordial ritual. The bodies as molecules under examination start their journey from the scientist's microscope and are magnified by embodying the physical phenomena and their contrasts. An unfolding of nature, its creation and destruction.
